If time is of the essence, the most convenient and quickest way you can park your car at Manchester Airport is to use a valet parking service. Although valet parking at Manchester Airport can be more expensive than parking your car yourself, the time you save along with the convenience may be well worth the extra cost. Below you will find a couple of options for Manchester Airport valet parking:

Manchester Airport offer VIP Valet Parking for all 3 terminals which allows you to drop off your car right next to the terminal, leaving you just a short walk from your check-in desk. Your car will then be parked at a secure Manchester Airport car park. This valet parking service also gains you and your party Fastrack access through security, saving you further time. The service is available for a 2 day minimum stay.

An independent family run parking provider, Manchester Airlink Parking, also offers a Manchester Airport valet parking service, with rates comparable to some ‘self park’ alternatives. Their representative will meet you at the departures level at either terminal 1, 2 or 3, help you with your luggage, and then take your vehicle to a car park close by. Your vehicle will be returned to you immediately upon your return.

The Cheapest Parking at Manchester Airport

If you are looking for cheap parking at Manchester Airport, there are several companies which offer competitive rates for car parking either at or close to the airport. While there are too many parking providers to list here, we decided to compare a small number of them to see who could offer the cheapest deal for Manchster Airport parking. For our test, we requested 2 different durations via the online booking systems on each website. The first was for 7 days of Manchester airport parking from September 10th 2011 until September 17th 2011, suitable for a one week holiday. The second was for 14 days of parking from September 10th 2011 until September 24th 2011, suitable for a 2 week holiday.

The lowest price we could find through Manchester Airport’s own parking service was a rate of £35.99 for 7 days of airport parking and £49.99 for 14 days of parking. Both of these rates were to park at their Shuttle Park, located a 10 minute transfer from the airport itself.

JetParks gave us a price of £29.99 for 7 days of parking and £49.99 for 14 days of parking. JetParks car parking is located a very short distance by free shuttle from Manchester Airport.

M & C Schofield offer airport parking on their farm, 10 minutes drive by courtesy car from Manchester Airport. They charge £30.00 for 7 days of parking and £50.00 for 14 days.

Purple Parking compares the rates of several Manchester Airport parking providers and at the time of writing we were given the rate of £31.92 for the shorter duration and £58.00 for the longer duration.

Conclusion
As you can see above, the rates for parking your car at or near Manchester Airport can be quite similar and in our opinion the convenience factor would be the main consideration in helping us decide where to park. With that in mind we would probably use JetParks whose rates seem to be competitive and whose car park is just minutes away from the airport terminal building.
If you are staying at one of the Manchester Airport hotels with parking, you should also compare those rates to the rates above to make sure you get the best deal.

It’s no surprise that Manchester Airport draws holiday makers and business travellers from across the north of England, many of whom drive to the airport and need to park their car while they are away. While there are several companies which provide Manchester Airport parking, sometimes it can be more convenient to stay at a hotel at Manchester airport which offers its own airport parking and hotel package. Several hotels at Manchester Airport offer such a package, some of which we have listed below:

Bewley’s Hotel Manchester Airport offers a Park, Stay & Fly service starting at £89.00 which includes pre-flight accommodation for one night and up to 8 days parking at the hotel, which would probably suit most people on a one week holiday. There is a 24 hour courtesy coach to get you to and from the Manchester Airport Terminal. To find an example rate for a two week holiday we chose a the random date of August 15 2011 for a one night stay for 2 adults and the rate we were given for 15 days parking plus the hotel room for one night was only slightly higher, at £105.00.

Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester Airport offers a Stop and Go package which includes Manchester Airport accommodation for one night plus airport car parking for various durations. For example, rates for one night’s accommodation plus 7 days of parking start at £125.00, and rates for one night’s accommodation plus 14 days of airport parking start at £129.00.

Premier Inn Manchester Airport has a Park & Fly package available which includes your Manchester Airport hotel for one night plus parking for either 8 or 15 days. Rates for the package with 8 nights of parking start at £81.00, and with 15 nights of parking rates start at £111.00, with the rates being higher if your hotel stay is from Monday to Thursday.

Manchester Airport Marriott Hotel offers special Park Here and Fly There rates which include accommodation for one night and up to 15 days parking on site at the hotel. We managed to find the rate of £99.00 for this package with a stay on the night of August 13th 2011. Transport to the airport from the hotel starts at £3.00 per person one way.

The Holiday Inn Manchester Airport offers a Park, Stay & Go package which includes one night’s accommodation plus either 8 or 15 days of parking. For 8 days of parking we found a rate of £79.00 with a stay on the night of August 13th, and for 15 days of parking the lowest rate was only slightly more at £89.00.
