If time is of the essence, the most convenient and quickest way you can park your car at Manchester Airport is to use a valet parking service. Although valet parking at Manchester Airport can be more expensive than parking your car yourself, the time you save along with the convenience may be well worth the extra cost. Below you will find a couple of options for Manchester Airport valet parking:

Manchester Airport offer VIP Valet Parking for all 3 terminals which allows you to drop off your car right next to the terminal, leaving you just a short walk from your check-in desk. Your car will then be parked at a secure Manchester Airport car park. This valet parking service also gains you and your party Fastrack access through security, saving you further time. The service is available for a 2 day minimum stay.

An independent family run parking provider, Manchester Airlink Parking, also offers a Manchester Airport valet parking service, with rates comparable to some ‘self park’ alternatives. Their representative will meet you at the departures level at either terminal 1, 2 or 3, help you with your luggage, and then take your vehicle to a car park close by. Your vehicle will be returned to you immediately upon your return.

The Cheapest Parking at Manchester Airport

If you are looking for cheap parking at Manchester Airport, there are several companies which offer competitive rates for car parking either at or close to the airport. While there are too many parking providers to list here, we decided to compare a small number of them to see who could offer the cheapest deal for Manchster Airport parking. For our test, we requested 2 different durations via the online booking systems on each website. The first was for 7 days of Manchester airport parking from September 10th 2011 until September 17th 2011, suitable for a one week holiday. The second was for 14 days of parking from September 10th 2011 until September 24th 2011, suitable for a 2 week holiday.

The lowest price we could find through Manchester Airport’s own parking service was a rate of £35.99 for 7 days of airport parking and £49.99 for 14 days of parking. Both of these rates were to park at their Shuttle Park, located a 10 minute transfer from the airport itself.

JetParks gave us a price of £29.99 for 7 days of parking and £49.99 for 14 days of parking. JetParks car parking is located a very short distance by free shuttle from Manchester Airport.

M & C Schofield offer airport parking on their farm, 10 minutes drive by courtesy car from Manchester Airport. They charge £30.00 for 7 days of parking and £50.00 for 14 days.

Purple Parking compares the rates of several Manchester Airport parking providers and at the time of writing we were given the rate of £31.92 for the shorter duration and £58.00 for the longer duration.

Conclusion
As you can see above, the rates for parking your car at or near Manchester Airport can be quite similar and in our opinion the convenience factor would be the main consideration in helping us decide where to park. With that in mind we would probably use JetParks whose rates seem to be competitive and whose car park is just minutes away from the airport terminal building.
If you are staying at one of the Manchester Airport hotels with parking, you should also compare those rates to the rates above to make sure you get the best deal.
